The Chicago Bears proudly announce Nicholas Armour, a student-athlete from Leo Catholic High School in Chicago, Ill., as the second recipient of the Community High School All-Star award for the 2024 season. The Community High School All-Star award, brought to you by Athletico Physical Therapy, recognizes nine total high school football players from March through May who are making a positive impact in their community and at their school.

Nicholas is a talented student-athlete, excelling both on the football field and in the classroom. As a current junior at Leo Catholic High School, he’s been recognized as a top defensive lineman and tight end, earning 1st Team All Chicago Catholic League Honors during the 2023 season. Not only does he dominate on the field, but he also maintains an impressive 4.14 GPA, earning him IHSFCA Academic All-State Honors.

Beyond his athletic and academic achievements, Nicholas has made significant contributions to the Auburn Gresham community through over 140 hours of volunteer service. His involvement in various community organizations, from mentoring youth to participating in neighborhood clean-up initiatives, demonstrates his commitment to making a positive impact close to home.

Nicholas is also an active member of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), an organization that helps youth develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership and citizenship skills through outdoor activities and leadership programs. His dedication to the program earned him the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable in the BSA program and achieved by only 4% of Boy Scouts since 1912. To earn this rank, Nicholas undertook significant responsibilities, including earning a minimum of 21 merit
badges, fulfilling leadership roles, demonstrating outdoor skills and embodying the principles of the Scout Oath and Law.

Nicholas’s academic excellence, athletic success, leadership and community service make him an ideal candidate for the “Chicago Bears Community High School All-Star” award, recognized and nominated by his coaches and teammates.

Each Community High School All-Star award recipient will receive a custom hand-painted football, gift bag and an invitation to a future Chicago Bears event. Additionally, the Chicago Bears will make a $500 donation to the charitable organization of the player’s choosing.
