Assistant Marvin Frazier named new Lakeland (Florida) head football coach

Lakeland is elevating longtime assistant Marvin Frazier to the position of head football coach. Frazier has been working under legendary head coach Bill Castle since 2019.

Castle retired at the end of the 2022 season after leading the Dreadnaughts to a 4S state championship and a No. 18 ranking in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

During his 47 years as Lakeland’s head coach, Castle won 473 games.
