Longtime Central HS coach Joel Helton passes away

Our condolences go out to the family of former Central HS head football coach Joel Helton, who passed away over the weekend after battling cancer.

During his time at Central, he led the school to 1999 wins and a state runner-up finish in 1999.  He is a member of the Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame.
