Abington and Cheltenham won’t be playing for the 105th time this fall. GlensideLocal.com is reporting that the Southeast Pennsylvania schools won’t be playing this year, because Abington officials asked its rival to “take a hiatus.”
Kevin Kaufman, Cheltenham’s director of communications, wrote in an email that “We received a communication from Abington stating they would like to take a hiatus.”
