The  88th East LA Classic between Garfield and Roosevelt will be played Friday night and the NFL‘s Los Angeles Rams will be there to celebrate. In partnership with Nike, the Rams have selected the East LA Classic’s girls’ flag and boys’ varsity matchups as their High School Games of the Week.

Last year’s game was played in front of 27,100 fans at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum with the Black Eyed Peas playing a concert at halftime. This year, the game returns to its usual locations, East Los Angeles College.

Another huge crowd, of about 25,000, is expected for Friday night’s game between the arch-rivals. Garfield enters the game with an 8-1 record. Roosevelt brings a 4-5 mark into the contest.

Garfield won last year’s game 16-8. They’ve won 15 of the last 19 games.
