Long Beach Poly head coach Stephen Barbee is being honored this week by the Los Angeles Rams as their High School Coach of the Week. The honor comes after the Los Angeles Chargers honored Barbee as their Los Angeles County COTW.

Barbee has Poly off to a 3-0 start and a No. 71 ranking in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. For the honor,  the Los Angeles Rams Community Foundation presented Coach Barbee and the school with a $1,000 donation to the school’s football program.

“This wouldn’t be possible without all of the players going out and executing the gamplean and without our assistant coaches who spent all week putting the gameplan together,” said Barbee at the check presentation rally, while pointing to all of his players, according to the562.org.
