18 high school football teams in Louisiana will be getting quite a post-Christmas gift. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 season got a late start, which moved the the Prep Classic state championships to two days after Christmas at Northwestern State University State University.

Tuesday, the Louisiana High School Athletic Association announced the schedule for the nine championship games that will be played December 27th through the 30th.
The private school championships are set, while the public school state semifinals will be played this weekend.

12/27 – 2A Championship – Catholic (Baton Rouge) vs. C.E. Byrd
12/27 – Division I Championship at 1 P.M. – TDB
12/28 – 1A Championship at 6 P.M. – TBD
12/28 – Division III Championship at 3 P.M. – Lafayette Christian vs. St. Charles
12/28 Division II Championship at 7:30 P.M. – De La Salle vs. St. Thomas More
12/29 Division IV Championship at 1 P.M. – Calvary Baptist vs. Ouachita Christian
12/29 4A championship at 6 P.M. – TBD
12/30 3A championship at 1 P.M. – TBD
12/30 5A championship at 6 P.M.
