Loyola Academy’s 23-21 win over former No. 1 Mount Carmel (Chicago) lands the Ramblers the top spot in the final regular season High School Football America Illinois Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football. The defending 8A champs also rise to No. 39 in our national rankings.

Edwardsville makes its first national rankings appearance after upsetting previously undefeated De Smet from Missouri. The Tigers are No. 292 in America and No. 7 in the state. De Smet entered the game ranked No. 149 in the HSFA 300.
