Loyola’s David Long receives jersey as U.S. Army All American Bowl Selection Tour gets going

Long is ranked as the No. 7 cornerback in the nation by the 247Sports Composite rankings and the No. 10 player in the state of California.

The game will be played Jan. 9 at the Alamodome in San Antonio and air live on NBC.

“I am proud to be part of such a prestigious event,” he said. “Thank you to all my peers, coaches and mentors.”

Long is a sure-fire game changer on the field, but also will fit in with the academic demands at Stanford. He is a 4.0 student.
