52-year old Lowrey Field is looking pretty spiffy these days after an $18 million facelift for the four Lubbock Independent School District teams (Coronado, Estacado, Lubbock, Monterey) that play in the 8,500 seat stadium.

The renovations include improvements to the playing surface, scoreboard, locker rooms and press box. They were part of a bond package approved by voters in 2010.
