Two-time defending Class B champ Marshwood made a statement Friday with a 48-14 win over Kennebunk, which drops from No. 4 to No. 5 in the latest High School Football America Maine High School Football Top 5 statewide rankings.
Look for a possible rematch in the postseason. Last year, Kennebunk beat Marshwood 17-14 during the regular season, but dropped a 14-13 decision in the state playoffs.
