Malakoff wins first Texas high school football championship

Malakoff is celebrating the school’s first Texas high school football championship after beating Franklin 14-7 Thursday at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. The Tigers captured the Class 3A Division II championship on two touchdown passes between quarterback Mike Jones and wide receiver Chauncey Hogg.
