Male’s 22-21 win over No. 7 Dupont Manual gives the Bulldogs the No. 1 spot in our final regular season Kentucky Top 10. The defending 6A state champs won their 16th straight with a field goal by Jordi Gomez with under four minutes to go in the game.
Male now leads the all-time series against Manual 87-45-6. The Old Rivalry began in 1893.
The victory also moved Male up four spots to No. 46 in the High School Football America 100 national rankings. Trinity is also ranked nationally at No. 81. Covington Catholic is No. 84 in the Top 100.
