Manzano captured the New Mexico Class 6A title Saturday with a 14-7 win over La Cueva in a battle between the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the High School Football America New Mexico Top 5. It was the second time this year that the Monarchs beat La Cueva to cap a perfect 13-0 season.
