Defending 6A champ Maple Grove returns to the High School Football America Minnesota Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Crimson, who began the season ranked No. 5 in our preseason rankings, re-enter at No. 6 after beating former No. 6 Centennial 41-28 last weekend.

Lakeville South solidified its spot atop the rankings with a 24-21 win over No. 5 Lakeville North.

Preseason No. 1 Rosemount falls out of the rankings after losing their second straight.

This week’s big game will be between No. 2 Eden Prairie and No. 8 Shakopee.
