Congratulations to Mark Lyons, head coach at Central Valley, on being named the Pittsburgh Steelers Coach of the Year. Lyons led his team to the school’s first-ever title last month when CV beat Wyomissing 35-21.
Lyons is the only coach that CV has ever had. Central Valley was born ten years ago after the merger of Center and Monaca high schools before the 2010 season. The Warriors are 110-29 under Lyons with six conference championships and four WPIAL titles.
Thank you to the @steelers and @NFL for supporting high school football. Proud to represent Central Valley School district. #cvpride https://t.co/VVRRFxR3xR
