DeMatha moves from No. 3 to No. 2 in the latest High School Football America Maryland High School Football Top 10 after the Stags impressive shutout of nationally-ranked St. Ignatius (Ohio) last weekend. Another change is at the bottom of the rankings where Quince Orchard moves to No. 9, flip-flopping with Avalon, which has only lost to teams ranked in the High School Football America 100 national rankings.

This week has a couple big games. No. 1 St. Francis Academy plays St. Joseph Regional in Montvale, New Jersey. The Green Knights are ranked No. 4 in the High School Football America 100, while SFA is No. 8.

In the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association, No. 5 Mount St. Joseph travels to No. 7 Calvert Hall in the A Conference opener for both teams.
