Massachusetts Top 10 heading into the playoffs

After COVID-19 took-down the playoffs last season, we’re ready for our first season in Massachusetts since 2019.

Catholic Memorial heads into the playoffs ranked No. 1 in the High School Football America Massachusetts Top 10 powered by NFL Play Football. The Knights grabbed a share of the Catholic Conference title with a 41-10 win over No. 6 Xaverian Brothers. Next-up, CM plays Woburn Memorial in the first round of the Division 2 playoffs.

In the final week of the regular season, No. 3 St. John’s Prep was surprised by 35-28 by Shrewsbury’s St. John’s, which entered the the game with a 3-4 record. SJP falls to No. 5 this week. Both teams now enter the Division 1 playoffs.

The Division 1 bracket is loaded with No. 2 Everett, No. 3 Central Catholic, No. 4 Springfield Central, No. 5 St. John’s Prep, No. 6 Xaverian Brothers and No. 8 Franklin.
