BC High moves from No. 4 to No. 3 in the latest High School Football America Massachusetts Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Eagles ascension comes on the heels of their 41-36 win over Springfield Central in the Division 1 quarterfinals. Central drops from No. 3 to No. 4 in the latest rankings created with our proprietary algorithm.
This week in the state semifinals, BC plays No. 5 Xaverian Brothers, a team they beat the 30-13 on October 18.
In the other semifinal, No. 2 St. John’s Prep plays No. 8 Needham for the right to go to the Division 1 Super Bowl that will be played next month at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots.
In Division 2, No. 6 King Philip Regional faces No. 7 Marshfield in one semifinal. On the other side of the bracket, top-ranked Catholic Memorial plays Wellesley.
