Mater Dei finishes No. 1 in final 2022 regular season HSFA California Top 25 high school football rankings

As has been the case all season long, the southern part of the state, specifically the Southern Section, dominates the final 2022 regular season High School Football America California Top 25, powered by NFL Play Football. 20 of the 25 teams hail from the Southern and San Diego Sections.

Leading the way is reigning national champ Mater Dei that is expected to meet No. 2 St. John Bosco for the Division 1 state title the day after Thanksgiving in the historic Rose Bowl.

We will release our final California Top 25 in early January.
