McCallie wins Tennessee Division II-AAA title

McCallie, which spent a fair amount of time in the High School Football America 100 national rankings until back-to-back losses to Clearwater Academy International (Florida) and Enworth on October 25 and November 1, is the Tennessee Division II-AAA champ.

Thursday, McCallie, No. 4 in the our Tennessee Top 10, beat No. 6 Montgomery Bell Acadmey 28-7 for the school’s second-ever state title. The last state title for the Blue Tornado come in 2001.

The McCallie defense was outstanding with nine sacks.
