Mentor remains at the the top of the latest High School Football America Ohio Top 25.

In the latest rankings, St. Ignatius moves from No. 5 to No. 2 after a one-point win over former No. 2 Archbishop Hoban, while Hoban falls to No. 3. This week, St. Ignatius will test itself against Maryland’s DeMatha. Both teams are ranked highly in the High School Football America 100. The Wildcats are No. 27. DeMatha is No. 35.

In addition to the St. Ignatius/DeMatha showdown, there are several other big games that will shape the next set of rankings that are created with High School Football America’s proprietary algorithm. No. 4 St. Edward takes-on No. 10 Elder and No. 16 Hilliard Davidson faces No. 18 Olentangy Liberty. Also, new Top 25 member Medina (No. 22) plays No. 12 Euclid.
