Miami Central High School Rockets footballMiami Central, which finished the regular season ranked #7 in the High School Football America Top 25, won its third straight Florida 6A title Saturday, which should help the Rockets improve upon that #7 ranking when our final Top 25 comes out on December 21st.  Central (13-1) beat Armwood (14-1) 24-10 behind Anthony Jones 199 yards rushing and three touchdowns.

Miami Central’s only two losses over the last two seasons have been to Booker T. Washington, which last week won the state’s 4A title last week.  BTW ended the regular season ranked #3 in the HSFA Top 25, which keeps in a position to win our “mythical” national championship.
