Michael Irvin Jr. is following in his dad’s footsteps. Monday, the younger Irvin announced that he will play his college football at his dad’s alma mater — the University of Miami (Florida).
Irvin Jr. is getting ready for his senior year at Florida’s St. Thomas Aquinas after transferring from Prestonwood Christian in Texas. 247Sports.com considers Irvin Jr. a 3-star recruit and the 27th best tight end in the Class of 2016. His father also played at St. Thomas Aquinas and Miami before going-on to an NFL Hall of Fame career with the Dallas Cowboys.
