The Battle at the Big House returns in 2023 with six big games being played at the University of Michigan’s famed football stadium in late August. The two-day event, which began in 2016, will feature three teams that played for a state championship last year.

In the first game on Friday, August 25, Division 4 runner-up Goodrich will face Division 5 runner-up Frankenmuth. This will be the third straight year that these two open the season against each other. Frankenmuth won the last two meeting.
