5A champ Mill Valley is the No. 1 team in the state of Kansas for the second straight year. The Jaguars finish No. 1 in the final 2020 High School Football America Kansas Top 5 after beating Wichita Northwest 49-35 for the program’s second straight state championship.
Derby finishes No. 2 after winning its third straight 6A state championship. The Panthers beat No. 3 Blue Valley North 56-31 for the three peat.
During the season opener Mill Valley beat Derby 45-14, which helped seal the top spot in the rankings that are created with our proprietary algorithm.
