Lakeville North and Eden Prairie continue to prove why they are probably on a collision course for the Class AAAAAA state championship. Both won big games over fellow High School Football America Minnesota Top 10 teams last weekend. No. 1 Lakeville North, which owns a 14-0 shutout of Eden Prairie in Week 2, beat former former No. 7 Prior Lake 38-3, while No. 2 Eden Prairie topped No. 6 Minnetonka 23-16.
Eden Prairie closes out the regular season this weekend against No. 5 Edina.
Academy of Holy Angels 7-6 defeat of former No. 8 Waconia moves the Stars into the statewide rankings at No. 10.
