It’s been a long hot summer in the south. That’s not unusual, but the Mississippi High School Activities Association wants to make sure that student-athletes are protected when the MHSAA kicks-off the regular season August 26.
Recently, the state’s governing told schools to move kickoffs from 7 o’clock to 7:30. The change will be for all games through September.
The Midsouth Association of Independent Schools, which opens August 19, hasn’t changed kickoff times, at this time.
