For the first time since 1997, Morgan is a Utah high school football state champ. The Trojans shutout Juab 8-0 to capture the state’s 3A state championship.

Not one touchdown was scored in the game as Morgan kicked two field goals and a safety on a muffed punt. The last time that happened in a state championship game was 1934 when Jordan beat Box Elder 3-0.

In the 2A championship game, Beaver won its first title since 2016 with a 45-6 win over Milford.
