Middle Tennessee Christian School (MTCS) beat Friendship Christian 28-13 Thursday for the 2023 Tennessee Division II-A state championship at Finley Stadium at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Eli Wilson ran for 190 yards and a score to give the Cougars their first-ever Tennessee high school football championship.
