Naperville Central moves higher in latest Illinois Top 10 after beating No. 4 Lincoln-Way East

Naperville Central moves-up three spots to No. 5 in the latest High School Football America Illinois Top 10 powered by NFL Play Football. The Redhawks jump comes after Seth Lendzion’s 30-yard field goal near the end of the game beat 2019 8A champ and No. 4 Lincoln-Way East 20-17 last Friday.

It was LWE’s first loss in 21-games. The Griffins’ win streak began after losing in the 2018 8A state semifinals. LWE slips two spots to No. 6 this week.

Top-ranked East St. Louis continues to soar after after its second straight when over a Missouri state power. The Flyers beat nationally-ranked De Smet 32-17. The win moves ESL into the High School Football America 100 at No. 90.

Taking the Top 10 spotlight this week is No. 3 Loyola Academy taking-on No. 4 St. Rita, which moves to No. 113 after knocking-off Kentucky-power Trinity last week.

In addition to ESL and St. Rita, Mount Carmel (Chicago) is ranked No. 103 in our Top 100, while Loyola is ranked No. 111 this week.
