Yes, there was a 72-hour early signing period just before Christmas, but Wednesday is still the official National Letter of Intent Signing Day. While eight of the top ten players in the ESPN 300 signed in December, two made their college choices on what many call high school football’s national holiday.
It was a big day in Plantation, Florida where two Top 10 players from American Heritage made their college choices.
Cornerback Patrick Surtain, Jr. chose Alabama. Surtain is ranked No. 5 in the ESPN rankings.
