Needham beat Wellesley 12-7 Thursday at Fenway Park in the 128th renewal of America’s oldest public school rivalry.  Joe Gowetski was the star of the game with a 97-yard Pick 6 that gave the Rockets the 12-7 lead at half.

Needham now is one win away from tying the series, which Wellesley still leads 60-59 with ties.
