Not everyone loves the bright lights of Friday nights, especially in-and-around Kennedy Catholic High School in Burien, Washington.

KOMO 4 is reporting that neighbors around the school that is south of Seattle are not happy with plans to build an on-campus football field.  The team currently plays at Highline Memorial Stadium.

Jessica Spruill, whose house would be closest to the athletic complex, told KOMO, “We’ll have about 1,500 people with lights and sound and screaming and spectators and cars staring right back literally into our front yard.”

Burien officials are accepting public comment before making a decision on whether to approve the project.
