Sturgis Scoopers footballThe bikes have left Sturgis…the air is beginning to cool and that means our first game is coming up.

Going into my second year has been great – numbers are up, players are excited and their knowledge of the offense and defense is up. This means that now we can start getting more complex, which will help us in tough game situations.

Our first opponent is Harrisburg Tigers on Satuday. We played them last year and we had our chances to win the game. Now fast forward to this year, Harrisburg is ranked in the Top 5 in the state and no one is giving us a shot. This is perfect. We are hungry and have a chip on our shoulder and we’re coming off a  fall camp full of bright moments.

Looking forward to setting the tone this Saturday night for what should be a great season for the Scoopers. You can watch the Scoopers in action this Saturday night at 7 PM CST 6 PM MST here on the High School Cube by clicking here.
