After moving up to Alabama 5A classification this year, Montgomery Catholic now owns a 4A and 5A state championship. Thursday night, the Knights edged Moody 17-14 giving them a second straight state title.

J.P. Costa booted a 23-yard field goal with 3:21 to go in regulation for cap a perfect 14-0 season.

Montgomery Catholic has now won 29 straight.
