Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots, will host all eight Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association high school football state championship games this weekend. It’s the 15th year that the Patriots and the (Robert) Kraft Family are hosting the state title games.
Two of the championship games feature teams ranked in the High School Football America 300 national rankings powered by NFL Play Football.

Catholic Memorial, ranked No. 179 in the HSFA 300, will go after its second straight Division II title Saturday night when it plays King Philip Regional. It will be the Knights fourth straight state championship appearance. They finished runner-up in 2018 and 2019.
No. 248 Springfield Central will be going after a four-peat when it plays St. John’s Prep for the Division I title Saturday afternoon. The Golden Eagles won last year’s DI title after back-to-back Division II titles in 2018 and 2019 (no 2020 championships played due to COVID-19).
