Ridgewood’s Reuben Pillai scored on a 5-yard run with :28 seconds left and then Tommy Bourque intercepted a Hail May pass as the Maroons upset No. 10 Union 41-37 in New Jersey’s North 1/North 2 Group 5 Regional Championship at MetLife Stadium. Look for Ridgewood to move-up from its current No. 25 ranking in the latest High School Football America New Jersey Top 25.

In the North 1/North 2 Group 4 Regional Championship, Wayne Valley beat Northern Highlands 21-17 after overcoming a 17-0 deficit. The win avenged a 17-13 loss to Northern Highlands on October 25.

Ramapo ran its win streak to 26 straight with a 38-21 win over Parsippany Hills in the North 1/North 2 Group 3 Regional Championship.

Verona rolled to a 41-0 win over Lyndhurst in the North 1/North 2 Group 2 Regional Championship.

The North 1/North 2 Group 1 Regional Championship goes to Park Ridge with a 28-21 win over Boonton.
