The first annual New York Jets Girls Flag Football Invitational will be played this Saturday at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center.
The Jets Girls Flag Football Invitational is a modified three-game pool-style tournament culminating with a championship game. There will be eight high school teams participating from New York City and New Jersey.
The teams will be divided into two pools. The winner of each pool will compete in the championship game. The winning school will receive a team trophy and invitation to attend the Jets pre-season Play Football game.
Here are the teams:
Pool Green – Irvington (New Jersey), John F. Kennedy (New York City), Newark Central (New Jersey), Susan Wagner (New York City)
Pool White – Paterson Eastside (New Jersey), Livingston (New Jersey), Tottenville (New York City), William C. Bryant (New York City)
The Jets Girls Flag Football Invitational is presented by Nike with support from Gatorade and Visa.
