The New York Jets, Nike and Gatorade will host the New Jersey and New York State Championship games at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center on Saturday. Ridgewood will take on Hillside in the New Jersey State Championship at 1:00 p.m., followed by Plainview Old-Bethpage and Warwick Valley High School facing-off in the New York State Championship at 4:00 p.m.

For the first time, Irvington High won’t be playing for the Jersey title. After finishing runner-up in 2021, Irvington won the state crown last year.
This is the third season of the Jets X Nike High School Girls Flag Football League fueled by Gatorade. Launched in 2021, the league began with eight schools from the Super Football Conference in New Jersey, and quickly expanded to 43 schools throughout New Jersey and Long Island in 2022. This season, over 100 high schools from New Jersey, Long Island and Hudson Valley participated in the league. The 2023 season featured over 2,100 athletes competing in over 430 games, culminating in this Saturday’s championship games.
