Cardinal Hayes opens the season ranked No. 1 in the High School Football America New York Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Cardinals are one of five teams from the Catholic High School Football League of Metropolitan New York at the top of the statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm.
Those same five teams are also ranked in our national rankings. Hayes is the highest ranked at No. 93.
Erasmus Hall of the Public Schools Athletic League is the first non-CHSFL team at No. 6. Long Island’s Farmingdale is No. 7, followed by Christian Brothers Academy of Syracuse at No. 8, Somers at No. 9 and Aquinas Institute at No. 10.
