It’s showdown time in the High School Football America New York Top 10 as No. 1 Iona Prep squares-off with No. 2 St. Anthony’s Friday night. Aside from the No. 1 ranking in the state, the game is also for first place in the Catholic High School Football League’s AAA Division.

Last year, St. Anthony’s beat Iona Prep twice, once in the regular season and in the CHSFL AAA semifinals.

The strength of schedule in-and-around New York City has led to teams like Cardinal Hayes and defending CHSFL AAA champ being in the Top 10 with sub-.500 records.  Stepinac returns to the Top 10 after beating former No. 3 Monsignor Farrell 35-17 lat week. Farrell drops to No. 5

Aquinas Institute inches up one spot to No. 3 in the latest High School Football America New York Top 10 that is created with our proprietary algorithm.
