Media outlets in the Philadelphia area are reporting that, Ja’meer Bullard, a top player at Camden’s Woodrow Wilson High School was shot-and-killed overnight.

According to the reports, Bullard’s family says he was walking to a store near his house with his younger cousin shortly after midnight when a gunman suddenly opened fire.

NBC 10 in Philly reports that Bullard, a junior running back, had received interest from Temple and was hoping to go to college to escape the streets of Camden.
