For the second year in a row, the Jacksonville Jaguars chose a former Georgia high school football player with the overall No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft. Thursday night in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Jags selected Upson-Lee High School alum Travon Walker.

A 5-star football recruit in the Class of 2019, according to 247Sports composite rankings, Walker was also pretty good on the basketball court. A four-year starter on the hardwood, Walker averaged a double-double for his career. He averaged 11.7 points a game and 10.8 rebounds, according to his stats on MaxPreps.

During his time on the court, Walker led Upson-Lee to two state championships, plus a 75-game win streak.

On the gridiron, Walker played multiple positions on defense, plus tight end and running back.
