Dutch Fork is the seventh team in South Carolina high school football history to four straight state championships. Saturday, at the University of South Carolina’s Williams-Bryce Stadium, the Silver Foxes, ranked No. 11 in the High School Football America 100 national rankings, beat Dorman 34-31 in overtime to win their fourth straight Class 5A state title.

After Dorman, ranked No. 2 in the High School Football America South Carolina Top 10, kicked a field goal on the first possession of overtime, Ty Olenchuk’s 10-yard touchdown pass to Jalin Hyatt gave Dutch Fork the victory.

Dutch Fork has now gone 40 straight games without a loss. The victory gives Dutch Fork head coach Tom Knotts twelve overall state titles during his time as a head coach in North and South Carolina.
