No. 110 Central (Fresno) beats No. 66 Sierra Canyon for California Division I-AA state championship

Fresno’s Central High School has been hanging outside of the High School Football America 100 for a couple of months. Friday night, the Grizzlies made a statement that they should be inside the Top 100 with their 34-19 defeat of No. 66 Sierra Canyon (14-2) for the California Division I-AA state championship.

Central, which entered the game No. 110 in our national rankings, finishes a perfect 15-0, was led by quarterback Jameson Silva, who finished with 353 yards passing and three touchdowns.
