No. 198 Cass Tech wins Michigan Division 1 high school football championship

Cass Tech is now a four-time Michigan high school football champ. Saturday night, at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions, the Technicians, ranked No. 198 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, beat No. 242 Hudsonville 42-20 for the state’s Division 1 title.

Colorado-recruit Alex Graham, who plays both ways, had a big game on both sides of the ball to lead the program to its first state title since 2016. From his defensive back position, he had four tackles, one interception and a forced fumble. On offense he caught four balls for 57-yards and 54-yards on the ground with a score.

After a 2-2 start, Cass Tech finishes on a ten-game win streak.
