Last year, Mater Dei dismantled Duncanville in a California/Texas high school football matchup that led Cali fans to tout the quality of football in Southern California. Friday night, MD’s arch-rival St. John Bosco got another statement win by taking-down Allen 52-14.
Bosco, ranked No. 2 in the High School Football America 100, powered by NFL Play Football, roared to a 38-7 halftime lead with Louisville-recruit Pierce Clarkson leading the way with three touchdown passes and one rushing.

Allen entered the game ranked No. 57 in the HSFA 100.
The two teams own four High School Football America national titles between them. Allen won three straight between 2012 and 2014. Bosco won the national title in 2019.
