Trinity’s drive to defend its 2019 Kentucky Class 6A state title will have to come after a two-week quarantine due to a player testing positive for Covid-19. The quarantine means that the Shamrocks’ Friday game against North Laurel has been canceled.
Trinity, ranked No. 10 in the High School Football America 100 national high school football rankings, will return to the practice field November 12, one day before its opens the 6A playoffs against Marshall County, according to Jason Frakes of the Louisville Courier Journal.
Trinity is the all-time leader in state championships with 26 overall.
