No. 23 St. Ignatius tops 2X Ohio Division III champ Archbishop Hoban in season opener for both

St. Ignatius, ranked No. 23 in the High School Football America Top 100, used a rock-solid defense to beat two-time Division III champ Archbishop Hoban 17-3 Thursday night.

Senior QB Kyle Hall led the way completing 15-of-25 passes for 213 yards and one touchdown.  Sammuel Snyder was Hall’s leading receiver with six catches for 112 yards.

The Wildcats D held Hoban, which is moving-up to Division III this year, to 33 yards rushing, according to cleveland.com.
